STEM education combines science, technology, engineering and mathematics in an interdisciplinary and application-based approach. Rather than instruct the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, our STEM curriculum at R.I.S.E. integrates each subject area into a cohesive learning paradigm based upon real-world applications.  This blended approach encourages a tactile, “hands-on” experience and offers students the opportunity to gain and apply relevant, “real world” knowledge in the classroom.
R.I.S.E. Academy is partnered with Microsoft to ensure that our children are learning with the latest and best equipment, using the most recent research and methods and apply their knowledge in the real world environment.  Our students experience field trips to NASA and participate in projects at the Monterrey Bay Aquarium.  In our classrooms, R.I.S.E. students work on creating brain impact simulators, analyzing astronaut photos of Earth in an effort to predict climate change,  experiencing microgravity by understanding Newton’s 2 and 3 Laws of Motion and much more.
